Description
"This course will introduce learners to the use of counselling skills in everyday life and work and some of the approaches that underpin the use of these skills. You will look at developing counselling skills, understanding the different approaches involved in counselling and the importance of self-development.
Who is this course for?
This qualification is useful for anyone wanting to develop their use of counselling skills for use in either work or a personal capacity. This course compliments other courses and is particularly beneficial to those working in health and social care, children's care, learning and development, voluntary sector and community work.
How will I learn?
Learning will be online delivery by a tutor using Microsoft Teams. You will produce an electronic portfolio of evidence which will be internally and then externally assessed.
This course is not recommended to anyone experiencing counselling therapy at present, due to the nature of the course content.

Access to the internet & basic digital skills
